MONDAY, 18 AUGUST 2025
UTeM, DURIAN TUNGGAL : The Auditing Knowledge and Skills Sharing Session for the Southern Zone was successfully held at Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM) on 18 August 2025. The Chief Internal Auditor, along with staff from four public universities — Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM), Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM), and UTeM — gathered to exchange knowledge and experiences in the field.

Before the session officially began, participants were invited to enjoy light refreshments, providing an opportunity to get acquainted and strengthen ties. The session then commenced with a presentation by Mr. Mohd Hary bin Ujang, Chief Internal Auditor of UTeM, who shared his experiences using the COSO framework in auditing practices at UTeM. The response was very positive, with participants expressing hope that such sharing sessions would be held more frequently among Southern Zone public universities.

The session concluded with a token of appreciation presented to the Chief Auditor in recognition of his contributions and commitment throughout the programme. This was followed by a group photo session involving all participants, capturing the meaningful moments of the day. The session not only symbolized unity and collaboration among Internal Audit staff from Southern Zone public universities, but also fostered a strong sense of camaraderie among them.
